Located in Shoreline, Washington, Anderson Plaza was a renovation to an existing 90 unit assisted living facility.
Transforming and revitalizing the space, MTV General Contractors converted a portion of the facility from assisted living into a 25 bed memory care unit. In addition, the remainder of the facility received improvements including the replacement and addition of energy efficient windows, new PTAC (packaged terminal air conditioner) units throughout, the addition of kitchenettes to most units, the reconfiguration of community spaces and corridors with new lighting as well. The replacement and addition of building HVAC units and the replacement of the emergency generaor rounded out the interior work.
On the exterior, all facades received visual improvement, the landscape and hardscape received new features and reconfiguration and the addition of an open, outdoor courtyard was added so that Anderson Plaza’s memory care patients could have a safe and healing space.
